Looking at the title you must be wondering if it is something related to my personal life? then i would say may be Yes!!! or may be No!!! When i see the inhumanity around me, i fear of being human. When i see the injustice with the innocents, i fear of being one of them. When i see the poor and the needy being helpless to even fulfill their basics, i fear of being one of them. When I see the whole world playing tactics against Muslims and trying their best to put them to their knees, I FEAR!!! I FEAR that i am a part of the Ummah which is sooo weak. This Ummah which used to be the example of Unity, Integrity and Honor is now dispersed, helpless and self centered.
The time when muslims are brutally treated all over the world, our great leaders are silent just to fulfill their interests. They have sold out their souls to the west and now they are puppets of them. Their monetary wishes are fulfilled and in return they are asked to sell their faith. Our great leaders are happy that there's no one who can do anything against them because they know that their nations are also like them. They have created such circumstances that nations themsleves are busy in achieving their monetary goals. We all are anxious just to achieve our monetary goals. Like our leaders we all have become selfish and self centered. We don't care if anything is happening anywhere to Muslims in the world. Our only reactions are "Oh! So Sorry for what's happening there. But what can we do???"..... end of story!!!! And our superb leaders. What should i say? They are from within us. We have chosen them so obviously they would be like us. They just give a condemning statement and organize a few international conferences and thats all. An i am furious of being a part of such people. I am furious of becoming like them.
I wonder why all this is happening to us??? I believe this all is the result of fear within us. Have we ever thought why we MUSLIMS are in this situation today? This is because we are more furious of humans than ALLAH!!! We have left our path of faith behind and we have adopted the wrong route. We are on the path which is only taking us towards destruction. We have stopped believing in our religion. We have stopped asking from Allah. We have stopped 'Believing in His Miracles'....and I fear of facing the consequences of our deeds....
The reason is that Muslims have changed priorities these days. They are more focused on the materialistic aspect of life and it's a historical fact that Muslims have failed whenever they seperate religion from their life. Religion does not mean outward piety and observing prayers and fasts; that too is important but losing the inner taqwah, ignoring the basic principles of faith i.e. justice, equality and compassion, takes the essence out of any religion. The ultimate consequences are failure and lagging behind in the world, which we are witnessing today
ReplyDeletexactly Faroha! but the thing is now the meaning of religion is took in extreme terms. the definition of religion is actually sqeezed to prayers and fasting only. Its implementation in daily life is totally ignored. We have forgot the fear of Allah but only fear of how to save more money? We don't think that the One Who is giving this money should be feared the most.So i agree with you that the biggest problem is that we are so occupied with material things that the religious values are no more important to us. We are also prioritizing this world more than the Life hereafter...
