Where are we heading?

Whenever I look around I see hopelessness, distress and sadness everywhere. Whenever you talk to someone randomly about the future that this country holds, you will always be disappointed by the view of the other person. They all have lost their hopes in this country and think that it will never come on the road of revival. I sometimes feel sorry for their oppressed and negative thinking because if a common man will have such disappointing views then how will this country survive. We always forget that this country needs us to support it for its revitalization and it cannot be done without the effort of every single Pakistani. We always have inappropriate reasons to deny our role for the benefit of this country.

We find other people to be blamed for all the deterioration and the most easiest target is the Government and Politicians. Since they hold powers to regulate and run the system of the country, we consider them to be responsible for all the mess. I believe media has an important role in manipulating the minds of common man since it is the only source of information as well as entertainment. They believe what it shows and make their opinions on the basis of that information. However certain people with sound mind and understanding of the circumstances involved make opinions based on logical reasoning.

The real dilemma lies in the fact that such people are in minor quantity and are suppressed by those in power so that they cannot be summoned for their illegal actions. When someone tries to raise a voice against any injustice or unlawful act, he has to face the consequences for generations to come which has demolished people's courage to speak for truth. It is commonly seen that meager issues are pending in our courts for decades due to this attitude of judicial system.

A country with unreliable judicial system and lack of trust of its people on its institutions will get weaker everyday and it will make ways for foreign forces to destabilize it. Hence it is high time that we as individuals should recognize our duty and make little efforts at our own towards improving this system. If we cannot then we should silently accept what is happening and let us live in denial.

Time will tell......

Muslims in today's world are facing various challenges. Whether it is Palestine, Kashmir, Iraq, Egypt, Yemen, Syria or even Pakistan. Have we ever wondered why are we so much lost, deteriorated and distributed? Why are we not living a happy, comfortable and peaceful life? Why we always have threats from other communities and why we are so defenseless for ourselves? All these questions come to my mind when I see the destruction of Muslims everywhere.

When you think about Muslims, negative things come to mind which is so disturbing and heartbreaking being a Muslim because this is not what we were or we are. We were glorious, peace loving and were seen as a nation of dignity and honor. However as time passed, we destroyed ourselves by indulging in the worldly affairs so deeply that we forgot our real goal in this life.

Muslims are in a state of war and this war is being imposed by the antagonists who do not want us to be united. The irony is that we Muslims are aware that we are divided on various grounds of race, sect and schools of thought and that is the root cause of our failure. But we still make no effort to eradicate these differences. We keep fighting among ourselves on petty issues and the opponents take advantage of such situation and bow the seeds of hatred in our minds against each other. We have failed to comprehend the dirty agenda of these enemies of Islam who have controlled our political, economic and social assets through their puppet ruling governments in all Muslim countries'  with an incompatible capitalist system.

However, now it seems that things are taking a little turn as the process of self realization has started among various Muslim groups in different parts of the world, specifically the Arabian Peninsula. The recent Arab spring is one major uprising in Muslim Ummah since the fall of Khilafah. The Muslims have realized that the current system of Government is corrupt, falsified and tailored to suppress the Muslims by anti-Islamic forces. Their hypocrisy has been exposed and their real faces can now be seen clearly along with their evil plans against Muslim Ummah.

Now it is just a matter of time, when whole Muslim Ummah will realize their responsibility towards the configuration of a real Muslim society based on the teachings of Quran and Sunnah as a source of Khilafah. Though it will come at a cost of bloodshed and sacrifices by many innocent Muslims but history has seen that Allah has always destined Muslims to gain victory over evil after a long struggle for their right.

Life on the other side....

I was recently switching channels on TV and there were some foreign channels or western channels to be appropriate. Some were showing adventurous programs, some game shows, some recreational activities and all such entertaining stuff was going on. I was wondering look at these people. How happy and carefree they are. They seem so much satisfied and relaxed in their life. While they are showing some refreshing holiday destinations and wonderlands of our times, we here can only think about such places in dreams. In fact to be correct we can only dream to even dream about such places because the kind of life we are living is so messed up that even our dreams are filled with turmoil.
I immediately realized as if I live on some other planet where there is no concept of peace of mind, relaxation and satisfaction. It seems we are all warriors always ready to face the hardships of life. We all are armed 24/7 to expect some kind of blow in the coming moment. I mean what kind of life is it? Or should we actually call it life? All we have in our minds is blasts, war, terrorists, politics, politicians, murders, kidnapping, target killing and so many more such ruthless acts. Just close your eyes for one minute and see what comes in your mind when you think about Pakistan. For me there is a horrific picture of chaos and uncertainties. We are in a state of despair and everything seems to be falling apart.
I just wonder what will happen next. What are we doing and what will we leave for our next generation? This country is being tortured not only by its external enemies but its internal enemies are eating it like a piece of cake. Even we as a nation are a part of this because we are losing our unity as a nation and we are moving towards individuality. We think the concept of unity, sharing and caring is only limited to books and we seldom implement it in our daily lives. We are not true to ourselves and that is why we are being deceived in every walk of life.

I just don't know if we will be able to improve our condition or we will just keep on living in a state of denial. Will we ever have a life like that other side?

Why Pakistan Loves Imran Khan

I never thought that I would see the hope rising again in this nation until Imran Khan entered our lives. He came like a breeze of fresh air and brought new dreams for the people of Pakistan. Even until last year I was of no interest in political scenario of the country when Imran Khan's popularity was just gearing up. He had been making heroic public appearances in Lahore and Karachi rallies and gatherings in front of gigantic crowd. It was the first time that people from all walks of life came to some political leader's gathering.
People have always vested their trust in this man since the time of Shaukat Khanam Hospital or even before that during World Cup 1992. This man is the only person who touches the hearts and minds of people of Pakistan. It is because he has always lived up to his promises until now, be it winning the World Cup, Shaukat Khanam Hospital, Namal University or Pakistan's progressive future now. Even his opponents have no doubt on the character of this person. He is the only person in our political history with no foreign accounts, involved in any fraudulent activities, possessing illegal sources of income or betraying its own people.
Now since the election phobia is on the rise in Pakistan, I have literally witnessed the revolution among our people. People are excited, motivated, passionate and utmost patriotic to vote. This time elections are no more same like any previous ones. Some people say Imran Khan has brought revolution like Bhutto era, I am not sure about that since i wasn't there that time but I think its more than that. That time people were passionate for democracy after a dictatorship but this time its above dictatorship, above democracy. It is all about our beloved Pakistan. Even those who never had any interest in electoral system are now ready to vote for change in the country. This kind of passion has never been witnessed before.
Imran Khan has successfully motivated the people of Pakistan to finally look beyond their personal interests and rise for the good of the country. There is no comparison to his goals and his passion to bring this country out of the mess. No other politician in the past 10-15 years could ever bring so much enthusiasm in our people because they were themselves less passionate, had vested interests in national treasure and never wanted people to rise against them. But Imran Khan seemed to be the only hope for Pakistan because he was known as the man of honor among the masses. He proved every now and then that we can blindly put our money at stake for this man because he would never misuse our money. This relationship of trust and honesty with him strengthened people's hopes for a better Pakistan and they came out in the open in his support.
On 7th may 2013 when he met with a terrible accident, the whole nation went into shock. It was like the heartbeat of Pakistani nation has stopped. Pakistanis within the country and abroad were grieving over this incident and were praying for the health of this man. The whole media was taken over by the love and support for this single man. It was a historic moment when the nation united for their leader. This only happend for Quaid-e-Azam when a nation followed a single person. Imran khan proved to be the ruler of hearts not just a country. A true leader is known by his passion and will power to motivate the masses towards a common goal and Imran Khan truly possess those qualities. He is the man born with leadership qualities and the world knows him that way.

PPP: Pakistan's Poor Politics

It has been quite a long time since I have made a blog post. The reasons being quite weird so no need to ponder on them. The point is I have returned to make a post forced by the deteriorating political situation of my country.
Since elections are on the edge, we are left with so much political drama and melodramatic situations that anyone could hardly resist. The recent famous Qadri's long march, Raja rental political scam, Karachi's target killings, Baluchistan crisis, Indian military defiance of LOC and many more internal insurgencies have really took the whole country by storm. It seems Pakistan is under the spell of PPP i.e. Pakistan's poor politics. Other than that the external forces are no less than a nail in the coffin which are trying to push the country into the end of times. Sometimes it feels that Pakistan is like a punching bag which is being severely used by all the forces (internal and external) to exhort their powers for some selfish political gains. The feelings in response to these crisis are mixed. Sometimes I feel pity on the helplessness and hardships of my people but on the other hand I feel that we deserve to be in this situation. Yes, this nation does not seem to be in a mood to change their fate. They keep on dreaming about the good future but in reality they hardly ever think practically to go for some change.
It has been evident that no change is possible in the society until you change your approach. Allah has also said in the Holy Quran that "Verily never will Allah change a condition of a people until they change what is within their souls" (Ra'd 13:11)
However it is surprising to know and to see that despite so much disappointment all around and when everybody simply blabbering a sentence, "Ab is mulk ka kuch nahi ho sakta"; to end up this discussion, there is a minor population which is still firm on bringing a positive change in society. These are the youngsters of my country. The 60% youth representing the major chunk of our populous country is trying hard to keep things intact. The youth has been more active and participating in politics than ever before. They are young, energetic, passionate and above all hopeful unlike their ancestors who tend to criticize these political mafias in drawing-room discussions but do nothing about it.
I personally feel that social media and internet has really played an exceptional role to bring this dramatic change in the thinking of minds. These youngsters are always active on social media and not just for fun but also tend to be involved in certain activities which have actually been fruitful in certain aspects. It is not necessary that the change they bring is gigantic or fundamental but the important thing is they are well aware of their responsibilities towards this country. Whether it is to make an appeal on twitter to ask for donations for poor and needy or to post a patriotic video inspiring people towards free and fair voting scenario. People notice and share such stuff and thus the awareness ball rolls in the nation.
I wish and pray that this social media change also tends to be helpful in bringing a true change in our society as a whole.
